Locally owned and operated by Daniel and Kyndal Bayman, The McKey Building was originally built in 1906 by brothers T.S. McKey and W.H. McKey. Purchased in June of 2021, The McKey was under renovations for two years and converted from a church and office space to twelve timeless rooms, an elegant event space, and a cozy coffee shop.

FAQ's

Is there a front desk?

No. There is no front desk at The Mckey hotel, but for any assistance, questions or concerns you can reach out via call or text at 229-329-3357.

How do I check in?

You will receive an email 24 hours in advance of your stay that has a code that will grant you access to the front door of the hotel and your room.

What time is check in/check out?

Check in time is 3:00 PM and Check out is 11:00 AM. If you need to arrive or depart outside of these times, please let us know as soon as possible via call, text or email. There is no guarantee we can grant your request.

Where is parking?

Parking is either street parking outside the hotel or there is a uncovered public parking lot about a block away. Parking is free, but there is no designated parking lot for the hotel.

Is the hotel pet friendly?

We allow pets in these rooms only:

We ask that if you are bringing a pet with you, you only book in the rooms above. We also ask you send us a message saying you will have a pet with you.

How many people can each room hold?

All rooms only have a king sized bed. There are no rooms with double beds or rollaway beds. The following rooms include a couch and we can provide extra pillows and linens upon request:

Is there an elevator?

Yes! We do have an elevator in the building.

what is the cancellation policy?

We require a 24 hour notice for a full refund.

Does the room have a fridge?

All of our suites include a small fridge. We also have a shared space in the hallways that includes a fridge and coffee station.
